Amy's Place Sumatra

AMAZING PLACE ! I just visited for my second time at Amy's place and it was as good as the last experience I had. The camp hosts a smaller number of people so its super relaxed and the vibe is good. Amy is always super helpful in making your trip run smooth from the airport to finding waves (there are a tonne of options). My pick in Krui for sure =) Enjoy

First trip to Indo/Sumatra and couldn’t have picked a better place to stay! Amy and her staff are absolute legends. The food was incredible, the waves were great, and the hang was super relaxed. Big Up Amy!!!

My stay at Amy's place was nothing short of perfect. Amy is very accommodating and super nice host. Waves are all around the location of her place also, right out front and within 30 min each side of her location is heaps of surf spots. Oh and the food is soooo good too!! Thanks Amy! see you soon

What an epic surf camp!! Amy totally understands the essentials of a solid trip!nGreat food, epic beds and super chilled beers!nCentrally located to great right and left hand reef points, and a short scooter trip to the best beach breaks in the world!!nAccess to cars for 40min trips in comfort to chase the perfect waves!!nWell done Amy on setting up a truest epic camp!!

Amy is a true blessing! As a female solo traveler, I was a bit worried if I could blend in with the other travelers, and with the place- but there was 100% no need to worry such a thing! Amy welcomed me as if I was one of her old-time friends, so I was 100% comfortable and I could just be myself from the moment I got there thanx to Amy’s laid-back, super friendly personality! All the staff are locals and they are so nice and so helpful! Amy entertains us, hangs out with the guests and takes care of the place, goes out of her way to makes sure that everything is good around the house- we also get plenty of space to be quiet and alone if we want- so my stay was very comfortable! My typical day here was: surf in the morning, come back and chill by myself or with the other guests in the garden sipping on a cold Bingtang, then go surfing again whenever I wanted to, get a massage or just relax, then enjoy the delicious dinner together like a family. They prepare breakfast and lunch which I can pick from the various menu, whenever I want in between surfing. It was nothing but a perfect vacation!! Amy, other guests and I became friends, hang out, talked about surf and other stuff, always laughing -made a life-long great memories. I truly appreciate that Amy takes cold beers and clean bathroom seriously- My vacation at Amy’s place Sumatra turned out to be one of the best days of my life! I’ve been to many surf trips in my life, but this is the first place I actually felt attached to, and felt that I finally found a place that I wanna come back to! Thank you very much, Amy.
