RANGKO CAVE.LABUAN BAJO MANGGARAI BARAT.

Wonderful salt water cave, very easy access. 15 minute boat ride, quick 5 minute walk. Lovely little fishing village, very warm and generous community. Nice 1/2 day excursion, no guide needed. Enjoy!

To arrive there, you have to take a boat with a local person, the man charged us 250rp for two people :/ and you have to pay a entrance 50rp per person. It was very expensive for a small trip. Anyway, to swim in the cave was fabulous. The water is very salt and warm. It's very scared cause is very dark, but the the water is very clear.

from the city of Labuan Bajo it takes 30-40 minutes by car then connected by wooden boat with a rental price of IDR 300k for 4 people going home.none person entrance fee is idr 20k.nthe cave is near the beach (50 meters), pretty good, there is a pool of water that you can swim in, it just feels salty because of the sea water and there is no rinse room (under construction).nIt's better to come around 11.00-13.00 because the sun can light up the pool ... but if it is before or after that hour it will feel dim.

Good, but unfortunately there is still a lot of plastic waste. Hopefully the officers & local residents will continue to protect nature by not littering.
