Amazing homestay with the nicest hosts Johannes and his son that help out with anything - renting motorbikes, sunrise hike, transportation, future reservations, activities in the area and local medicine for stomach issues.nThe room is clean and there is free water, tea and (homemade) coffee available.nDon’t forget to ask Johannes to make local dinner for you, unfortunately we missed this opportunity.nGood to know: There is only one bathroom (toilet&shower) for multiple rooms and the water is cold.

The owner, Johannes, is very friendly and helpful.nWhen we arrived he showed us a map of everything there is to see in the neighborhood.nThe location is very good!nThe room was clean and the bed had a good mattrass.nThere is only one bathroom for all the rooms and no hot water for the shower.nYou will understand the name of the hostel when you eat the banana pancakes for breakfast! Best pancakes I had in Indonesia!nJohannes can help you rent a motorbike and other transportation

The owner and his nephew are very nice and can help you out with lots of information and arrange things for you. Breakfast is quite good for Flores standards and there's free coffee, tea and water all day which is really nice. The rooms and beds are okay for that price. Internet works well. The only thing I didn't like was that - unless you book the room with the private bathroom - the shower in the common bathroom only has cold water. Usually not a big problem in hot areas but it can get quite chilly in Bajawa in the evenings.

The nephew and his uncle (owner) are one of the nicest and most helpful people we have met on our trip across Flores. They both do whatever they can to help you and make your stay pleasant. When we checked in, they showed us a detailed map of Bajawa and gave us local tips and great advice on what to do. The facilities are super clean, modern and confortable. There is a free water dispenser, coffee / tea. The banana pancake for breakfast was super thick, filling and delicious, and they also give you a nice amount of fresh fruits. The shared bathroom doesn’t have hot water. The double room with private bathroom has a nice hot shower and the room is spacious. The bed, pillows and blankets were comfortable. I would definitely recommend this guesthouse.

Markus owns the bamboo shop out front and oh my he is so very talented! He was also our driver for the day and showed us around. Very gentle, very helpful and really just enjoyed the day with us. The guesthouse itself is super lovely, shared big bathroom, boil the kettle if you want some hot water for your face and yeah the breakfast was delightful.
Similar place
