In 2006, the name was changed to Masjid Raya Syuhada as the total renovation process to build a more representative mosque.nnmasjid raya muhada 1Inspirasi which became the basis of the formation of the building model is the building style of Turkey and Archipelago. Four towering towers and laid as the corners of the main building reminiscent of the Ottoman-style building model. This model resembles the Sultan Ahmed Mosque in Istanbul, Turkey.n nThe building also appears quite striking with the game of various colors. On the wing side of the mosque there are decorative accents that look like bright green kerawang, flanked by natural stone with a combination of cream and black.nnBetween the wings and the center of the mosque is a stained-glass decoration. In addition to providing beauty outside the building, this glass also serves as lighting in the room.nnThe seven mosque dome represents seven layers of sky and seven layers of earth. Below the domes of the mother are 25 names of prophets and apostles. These names are made of stained glass material. To go to the main worship room, visitors must climb the stairs that are covered by the niche of the wall. The mosque has 33 steps in its three steps. The stairs give the meaning of the number of beads.n nThe four towers that complement the mosque are symbols of the four processes of human life. At the end of the tower is a crescent moon symbol that is the meaning of praying hands. Meanwhile, the high 50 meter tower is merup. symbol of the number of prayer times commanded by Allah SWT. to the Prophet Muhammad, who ended up five days.nnThe privilege of this Mamuju community pride mosque is a calligraphy made from emaas that reads lafaz Allah and Muhammad. Calligraphy is placed in the mihrab arat.
