Pamella Enam Swalayan

The place to go for weekly shopping. Very affordable price (one will be surprised how low the price of products in here) especially compared to other mainstream supermarkets or convenience store. Weekends toward Monday evening tend to be the most crowded time. The place is also quite hot (no A/C which make things cheap). Very recommended.

Pamella Enam, as well as the other Pamella store, is always the kind of supermarket that offer best (by best, I mean... cheap) price for your weekly, biweekly, even monthly grocery shopping. The shop is rather shabby and uncomfortable compared to the other supermarket such as Giant, Superindo, or Hypermart, because Pamella doesn't have air conditioning, bad store layout, and slow service, yet the price still compensate everything.nnFor the goods itself, I don't think Pamella offer us a lot of options. If you are satisfied with low quality local products, then Pamella is enough for you, especially since they accept stuffs from local snacks vendor to sell. But, if you are looking for imported goods, sadly, they almost nowhere to be found. You can find emergency uniform, clothes, socks, and another thing here, but never expect it to be in high quality.nnIf there's one thing I really hate about Pamella, is their rounding policy. Sometimes, their rounding is ridiculous that nowadays I prefer to just use my ATM and go here for bulk-buying. Imagine it, when the other stores only ask to rounding up the total when it's above 55 Rupiah, Pamella just cost us for donation when it's already 5 rupiah more? I mean, if my receipt says 100.005 Rupiah, it means I need to pay 100.100 Rupiah instead of a nice, round 100.000 Rupiah. It's not like I don't like to donate or what, but I really don't like the fact that the donation seems shaddy (I never see the proof of their donation, other than banner that has been reuse gazillion times) and even they only cover the old donation amount with cheap stickers. Very suspicious, I'd say.

Good supermarket while space of share reflected with share of market. This is good model in business that they did not sold any cigarette.
