a little bit far from the downtown but I like the quiet place, like homey staying, a good services as like the 5 star hotel. Another bonus they have a coffee shop and a very good steak restaurant on the ground level

I stayed at The Alana Hotel for 2nights during long weekend. The hotel is full but the health protocols were followed and implemented, so we feel safe.nnThe room is big and clean. They have comfort bed, big sofa, long table, good wifi speed, good pressure of shower. I stayed in twin bed room 202 (2nd floor) with pool view ud83dudc4d. Surprisingly, they also gave us mini bar complimentary during our stays.. which is a great !nnThe negative point is lift, need to wait 10-15mins in breakfast time. The breakfast food is very standard in term of taste. The parking area is far away and may be challenging to reach in rainy season.

2 nights I am staying at Alana Jogja and there are 3 things that makes me unconvenience.nnFirst, I had to extend my stay at same room. It might be not possible bcos this room was booked by someone for the next day. No prob i thing. But after all, receptionist called me of sudden and told I can stay in the same room. Unfortunately, I've got 1 guest knocked wrong room and 2 wrong calls that was quite disturbing me.nnSecond, in breakfast time. I ordered an omelette then took 1 hour to get it. So shame, they did not say anything even admitted that they forgotnnThe final is in my last day. I called reseption desk to ask bellboy brings troller for my luggages. So my stuffs go down followed by me. After I got in front of hotel, I gave ticket for the troller to the man there. But they refused to help and ask me to go to the receptionist. At that time, we can see other cars queuie and we did not have much time. So i decided to bring my own troller to the cars. I was shock! The man just looking at me without helping. Oh GoshnnAnw, there was one moment for me to be little grateful. The cleaning service was so honest and kind. So I give 1 star for that.
