Bank (Indonesian pronunciation: [bang]) is a financial intermediary institution generally established with the authority to receive deposits of money, lend money, and issue promissory notes or banknotes. [1] The word bank comes from the Italian word banca means a money changer [2]. Whereas according to banking law [3] a bank is a business entity that collects funds from the public in the form of savings and distributes it to the community in the form of credit and or other forms in order to improve the standard of living of the people.
