Gunung Ireng Srumbung

Easy access. Just use google map and you will find it. I was the first person who got there, it was around 5.45 am. Went here for sunrise, it was cloudy but i managed to took the ray of light behind the cloud.

Not so far from Yogyakarta, just around an hour ride. Road access is already good, spacious parking spot for cars and motorcycles, I'm pretty sure small buses also fits. Just need few minutes walk in paved road to reach the peak. Very beautiful sunrise view. They have some gazebos to take a seat and enjoying the view. Everything is clean and tidy. The entrance ticket is very affordable just IDR 3.000 per person.

My great experience during the morning time. It's only the peak of the hill. But we could see the glorious scenic landscape when the sun comes out from it's horizon in the Faraway east. To reach out this place, I have to riding away more than an hour by motorcycle from the downtown of Jogjakarta. It has a parking area for motorbike & car as well. Entering this area will be charged. Only IDR 5K per person, fairly enough though. This place is managed under local grups of community as part of the official village authority. There are good stalls, parking areas & toilets as well. Nice!

It's a beautiful place to see sunrise. Easy access and very quite at the time I visited the place.
