Very helpful! When foreigner travelers arrive at the notorious bus station and dont know how to do next or afraid of being cheated by those bus taxi drivers, just go to the police office and ask them for help. They will tell you the right bus to take and the real price, or help you find realiable taxi or ojek driver for you, and even bargain for you :)

The police station is right at the entrance to the Ubung terminal which is known to be very prone to thugs with bus ticket brokers, but why do the police here seem unable to do anything or the police seem like they are not carrying out their duties even though not a few police are armed with weapons or get special training to eradicate goons. Public unrest over the Ubung terminal thugs has spread and should have been taken seriously because it could damage the image of BALI as a friendly tourist island.
