Shambala Spa

Three of us decided to give Shambala Spa a try after getting a recommendation from friends. We all got the 90 min Traditional Balinese Oil Massage. It was a pleasant surprise when we discussed how the massage was we all had a very similar experience with different Masuses!nnThis Traditional Balinese Oil Massage is supposed to be relaxing and we all fell asleep at least once. Overall a nice experience, and compared to Thailand I felt treated more like an individual with unique needs with the massages I have received in Bali. I think I just need to invest more money in my Thailand massage experiences.

The massages might be good but the manicure sure wasn't. Besides that it was painful at times, it was not done professionally. It was quite dark inside so that might have also not helped to do a good job. I think for the price you expect better. Also when I told them I was unhappy they tried to fix it but obviously when it's not done nicely the only way to fix it, is to do it all over again. I think it would have been fair to return some of the money or offer something else.

It feels to me the best spa I’ve ever tried in Bali. Putu is an amazing therapist, he is very present and has a wonderful conscious touch.

The day package is amazing! The staff were amazing. I have never left a spa so relaxed! 100% reccomend the Shambala! Ubud is amazing!

The best massage I've ever had in my life. The lady was lovely and I left feeling like a new human being. 6 out of 5 stars.
