I ordered a funeral flower stand from Orchard Florist at 10am this morning for same day delivery after reading good reviews. When the delivery guy called at 12 noon to confirm the delivery address and ask if the stand can be delivered, I said yes and was pleasantly happy at the prompt service. I visited the wake of my neighbour at 6pm thinking that the flower stand was already delivered but to my astonishment I realised no delivery was made. I called Orchard Florist immediately and the staff answering my call told me the last call was merely to confirm the delivery address and as long as they delivered before 10pm they have done their job. I urged for a faster delivery as it was the last night of the wake. The funeral flower stand was finally delivered at 7.30pm. I am clearly disappointed that the service and delivery from Orchard Florist is at the low end of my expectation. Please do not use them if it is an urgent delivery. Disappointing.
