The best cultural association in town. Thanks to IHS I am having the opportunity to know about culture, history and tradition of this beautiful country! If you live in Jakarta join it!

Wonderful non-profit, volunteer run organisation which offers a range of activities to promote an appreciation of Indonesia’s cultural Heritage. You can enjoy fascinating Evening Lectures; opportunities to explore Jakarta in groups; study groups on topics of interest; morning coffees with guest speakers; and much more. Love the networking with so many different nationalities!

Great experience of IHS. Selflessly have been providing a great platform for expats to share their views through interactive mediums.

We had six very nice years in Jakarta as a family. Indonesian HeritagenSociety filled my days with lots of nice activities when kids were in school. I was trained as a tour guide later on and I enjoyed guide training and guiding in The National Museum very much.nIt was a very pleasant and rewarding experience for me, and I gained a lot by explaining something of Indonesia’s rich heritage to the visitors to the museum who spoke English or Turkish.nEverybody can find something to do voluntarily if become a member.nI strongly suggest expats involve with IHS on their arrive to Jakarta then never worry about to be bored or find a friend or buy books.nThe rich library of IHS in Senayan will give you plenty of choice of books especially about Indonesia. Enjoy nice and friendly people and nice climate!
