Sere Nauli Hotel

It’s a shame because the hotel has the potential to be very good, the rooms are a good size and the view is lovely. Sadly, the maintenance is very poor. The bathroom was disgusting, cobwebs in the door frames, dirty bed sheets, dust and mould everywhere. I complained and they sent the cleaning team in, which was a slight improvement. At breakfast there were a few beetles and insects walking over the fruit and omelette. I suggest they get a new cleaning staff or pay their current ones higher salaries.

Love the view but not the villa room is so dirty

Might be the only decent hotel in Laguboti Area. This might be the reason why they are not motivated to improve their services. The rooms were quite smelly, the shower hose was leaked, the window frame was covered by dust, the bed sheets smell awful. However, their effort in maintaining their backyard and small size swimming pool should be appreciated. With beautiful scenery of mountains and farm, rooms with windows facing the backyard are preferrable. Their typical breakfast of fried rice, fried noodle, and sauted mixed veggies (capcay) were quite tasty. Considering it might be the only well-managed hotel in the area, this hotel might be the best quality you can expect.

This was a pretty decent hotel. Not the best deco and setup by a mile, but I thought the staff was very nice, and the rooms were clean and the bed was decently comfortable so no complaints there. Food was not bad also, and was not too far from Lake Toba.
