Malioboro Street is an icon that is visited when on vacation to Jogja because on Jalan Malioboro to the left of the road, if we are from Tugu Jogjakarta station, people are lined up selling Jogja specialties such as Gudeg and other specialties such as fried chicken etc. but we have to ask what the price is per the portion and on the right if from the Tugu Jogja station there are lines of people selling typical clothes with the writing jogjakarta, selling typical Jogja souvenirs such as temple miniatures, bicycles and other miniatures and selling sandals and all prices can be negotiable but the price is negotiable, which is reasonable so that the traders It's nice and doesn't suffer and along the Malioboro street a special pedestrian has been built for pedestrians so that every person who crosses the Malioboro street and walks comfortably and casually.

Pengelolaan sampah masih kurang. Di beberapa titik (tidak banyak) kadang berbau (maaf) pesing (bau air seni). Untuk yang tidak suka keramaian namun ingin jalan jalan di Malioboro disarankan untuk datang/berkunjung pada hari Selasa Wage, pada hari itu kawasan Malioboro steril dari PK5. Apalagi pas jam 17.00-21.00 dimana kendaraan bermotor (kecuali becak-yang di sana pake motor juga) dilarang melintas.
