An easy access to do bird watching for Halmahera' s birds such as Bidadari halmahera (Semioptera wallacii). It takes about 1.5 to 2 hours from Sofifi by car. The resorts itself is in Aketajawe Lolobata National Park area. Visitors could also meet the indigenous people of Halmahera (Suku Tobelo Dalam) there.

Marvelous people and incredibly interesting place for nature and bird lovers. Tree frogs, cuscus, lots of interesting colourful spiders and insects, butterflies and dragonflies, lizards and snakes. H+ Internet connection is available at the end of the village on the shore of the Tayawi river (where you can also take a dip and enjoy the sunset-fire-in-the-sky). Go to the headquarters of the Aketajawe-Lolobata National Park in Sofifi to buy a permit and receive all information.
