Beautiful place. Great place to visit and get away. Well worth the time and drive.The only disadvantages there are, are to first time visitors or infrequent visitors. Signs that are present are visible only during daylight ours, so maybe lettering in fluorescent paint, and directional additional signage for showers and latrines would be convenient for night arrivers and night time bathroom users....or just in case of emergency. Lastly, speaking of emergency preparedness, the lack of more first aid resources and information could be useful.

Our family camps at many NYS campgrounds. Cranberry Lake quickly became one of our favorites. Although the sites are in desperate need of upgrades, the view and the lake itself is beautiful. We had fun fishing, swimming, and relaxing all weekend. The bathrooms are also dated but usable. The showers were in good condition. We all agreed that Cranberry would definitely be on our list of places to return to annually. Also, on our opinion, site #45 is the best site in the park. Great views, beach area, quiet and peaceful. Beautiful campground. Our site was right on the water. Plus the sites had privacy, they weren't packed in.

This place is beautiful. I highly recommend it. Beautiful park and beach. The internet pictures you see it looks just like that in real life but in real life! Friendly staff usually not very busy.

The place is amazing, some staff are pretty harsh. The water feels amazing and it is very gorgeous. Some campgrounds have a lot of gravel, and not really a good place for a tent.
