Rinjani Women Adventure

I can't begin to describe just how incredible my day was when I spent it with 2 wonderful women guides, Katny and Ditha, from Rinjani Women Adventures. I did the panaroma tour, that begins by exploring and by getting in depth Information about daily living in the Sunaru traditional village as they prepare for a day of festivity. Following I was given a tour of a lush and natural garden where I discovered a variety of plants with medicinal purposes, as well as acquainted myself with cotton treas, jackfruit trea, lemon and avocado, coffee and my all time favorite cacao tree. It was the first time I have ever seen cacao and even was lucky to have tried raw cacao for the first time in my life. An experience I will forever cherish. Following this wonderful tour, we walked to and between rice fields where we paused to enjoy a delicious traditional lunch. My guide even brought fruit and local cakes for me to try. The thoughtfulness of her action did not evade me. Finally we hiked to the 2 famous waterfalls, Tiu Kelep and Sendang gile.nI'm not much of a hiker but Ditha, my guide was most patient and encouraging. At some point I had to walk barefeet between rocks and she offered for me to wear her flipflops. Her genuine kindness was very touching.nI strongly recommend this tour and this incredible group of empowered women to anyone wishing to discover northern Lombok while supporting an incredible cause. My girlfriend and me went on the Panoramawalk with Karni. It was absolutely amazing and totally worth the money. We hiked alot through the jungle and found so many fruits and interesting plants.nWe also liked to hear about the culture of the old village senaru. At the end we also found some nice rice fields and waterfalls.
