Tempe Zahra Tempe was established in 1996 under the leadership of Mr. Sutarno who is located in the Ruko Sari Pajajaran Tembesi Batam Center complex. Initially Mr. Sutarno produced tempe ranging from 2-3 kg which is sold around the company's current address. Because it is really serious in managing this business, finally the Zahra tempe business is growing and developing rapidly at this time and finally in October 2015, the IKM Zahra with the other two IKMs obtained HACCP product quality certificates so that the products produced are safe for consumption and marketing coverage is not only domestically but can be marketed in neighboring countries namely Singapore and Malaysia. Tempe produced currently has three types of sizes, namely 0.9 gram, 1.5 gram and 2.5 gram. Where the price value is also different, starting from Rp. 1,000 to reach the price of Rp.5,000.

Tempe zahra factory, the only tempe producer in Batam City that has implemented the HACCP quality standard system. The time is hygienic, it feels good, to Batam, Loss does not visit Tempe zahra and even worse if he does not buy the time for souvenirs.
