Small Confucian temple in the heart of Singkawang City, some people said it is the oldest one, the architechture is beautiful, and the building is well maintained. Praying in here is easy, the management already prepared incence and other stuffs for free, you could give some money for donation, of course

It is told that this is the oldest shrine in the middle of the city of Singkawang. Every year at Chinese New Year celebration, this is the most beautiful and colorful spot with hundreds of red lanterns hanging in the sky. In the year of 2019, there is a couple of phoenix (bird from sky) beside this shrine.

Singkawang's central Toapekong (Chinese temple). Always decorated merrily during Chinese New Year. A must see local tourist attraction. Nearby there's the Grand Mosque of Singkawang proving the religious tolerance of Singkawang people.
