Is a Regional Device Organization (OPD) of the City of Mataram in the form of a Service that handles the field of Education. Based on Government Regulation No. 18 of 2016 concerning Regional Devices, the name of the Department of Youth and Sports Education of Mataram City was changed to Mataram City Education Office starting January 2017. Whereas Youth and Sports then became separate services under the name of the Department of Youth and Sports.nnWith the change of name to the Mataram City Education Office, now this service only deals with education issues. In addition, since the name changes occurred, their duties and responsibilities also changed. Currently only handling education starting from Early Childhood Education (PAUD), Elementary School (SD) and Middle School (SMP). Whereas High School (SMA) and Vocational High School (SMK) are handled by the Education Office at the Provincial level.
