Tirta Ayu Coffee Shop

The worst experience ever. We ordered very simple food and waited it until I started to ask about it (I held my hand almost 3 minutes until someone looked towards our table...). It came being almost cold. And the food itself was .... simply bad... If I had never tried local food before I would have got an impression that Indonesian cuisine is bland. Shame on them. They called this place restaurant but provide very bad service and the food of quality way worse than street market.

I am out of words on this restaurant. It is situated inside the temple with a great view however, the food is a complete disaster.nnWe ordered their “popular pizza”, pasta and two drinks. My ginger infused water was completely testeless with no ginger in it, a few slices of lime and cucumber. Basically a plain water in a fancy jar with a disgustingly dirty stopper. The diet coke was the best (in a can). We waited a long time for the food even tho the restaurant was mostly empty. The pizza crust was white and hard as rock. There was supposed to be spicy sausage and the only thing I found was brown looking thing like a mushroom that wasn’t mushroom. Just horrible. Worse than a frozen pizza from a supermarket back home. Pasta was also mediocre considering the price. I gave the lady the “feedback” and she gave me the “oh really”, spoke to her friend in their language, lauged and charged me full price with the tax and service, of course. I also asked her if this is frozen pizza and if they make their own pizza dough and she responded with the “yes yes”. I am sure she didn’t understand a word I said.nnTo sum up I not recommend this place to anyone. The temple is ok but the entrance fee is a bit steep.

The food was awesome especially the pork and duck. The place is also very beautiful and comfy. Its fit for relaxing and healing our mind.

I would highly recommend going to this restaurant. Not only does it have an amazing view overlooking stunning ponds, but it also has a wide range of menu from authentic Indonesian food to fusion food.nnLast time I went here bringing along 100 students. The staff tried their best to cater all of our needs from the self-picked menu to the al-fresco tables! It is obvious that the restaurant has tried to keep its reputation as the best restaurant in the area. Excellent!

Below average quality. Pretty much what you would expect in this location though. The 5 star reviews must be fake.
