Ancol is a great place to spend your time for a quick get away. With all that it has to offer (Dufan, Sea World, Ancol Beach, Hotels, Villa, etc), you can spend not just your whole day, but your whole weekend here. It used to be more wholesome back in the day, but it still has a LOT to offer now. Although aside from the COVID-19 pandemic, they are also currently rennovating on some places.nnAnother mindful info, they use eticket now, so you need to purchase your ticket in advance and scan it through your phone when arriving at the gate. This would be a hassle if you don't have the eticket and ebanking on your phone.

Ancol is one of the oldest theme park in Jakarta but it offers a wide range of playground for any ages. Ancol is known the best for amusement park of Dufan which is kinda expensive and crowded in weekend. If you want to just chilling, you can go directly to its beaches, however, because the beaches are free, you cannot move easily or enjoy the serenity in the beach. Another park is Atlantis which is a water-themed park. It is expensive as well yet crowded. Ancol is always improving its park, I hope the management can maintain its hygiene.
