Surprised !! the Pasar Senen Train Station has transformed. New main gate with green open concept, its cool. More clean with complete facilities.. than 1.5 years ago as I came. Today I did travel with Matarmaja Train and asked for a rapid test as requirement. Prepared 85k/ passenger, free face shield and 20 mins for testing before departure hour. Have a nice weekday and stay healthy.

I planned to go to Solo by using train and i went here to do a rapid test. The rapid booth located near the toilet. Before we’re getting tested, first we had to pick the queue number followed by showing our ticket (its okay if its not printed) to the staff and security. Then we need to wait in the waiting room (outside) until our number get announced. After we being called we need to wait again inside the booth. Then we have to pay 85k for the kit, after that the nakes will do the test to us. Wait again until our report be printed then we can go home haha. The result of your rapid test will be valid for the next 14 days. Stay safe!

Main station in Jakarta to connect all across cities in Java Island. This station serves major economy, premium economy, business, and some executive mixed class. And this station probably the busiest train station in Jakarta. Make sure if you travelling from this station to spare time 1 hour at least before departure time since this station usually very crowded.

The station used to be very dirty and smelly, but now it is all clean. One thing I would comment is about the direction within the station, is't really clear. A big map on the entrance gare would help a lot.
