Air Terjun Suwono

Suwono waterfall not only offers you beautiful scenery but also a great experience; the officer provides huts to take a break or enjoy the atmosphere.nThe waterfall itself has one water spring and 2 pools at the end of the river flow. It takes around 30 minutes by walk from the entrance. With the natural pine trees and another plant that decorated beautifully, will make you even don't realize that you have walked far to go to the waterfall from the entrance.nIf you want to enjoy the sunset on Lawu mountain, just come here at the weekend, cause Suwono waterfall provides a cafe that opens until night every weekend. The special thing is, it has live music and you can invite your friend to do karaoke together there.

I and my wife were lucky to come to the Suwono waterfall park shortly after it's undergone major renovations, with a beautiful 200 m walk path to the waterfall. Now it has a cozy, modern style garden cafe offering a romantic atmosphere with nice music and delicious traditional foods such as pecel rice, fried soft tofu (tahu susu), and yummy drinks at reasonable prices. Entry fee to the park is Rp 15,000.00 per person, but you are free to come to the cafe and use clean toilets for Rp 2,000.00 without having to pay the entry fee. Minuses: not yet any musholla (moslem prayer place); narrow ascending village road; a humble waterfall. The parking lot is not yet paved. Needs more selfie spots and platforms.
