It was just like a common train station. The problem is there's no mini market or at least a grocery store where the passengers could grab some food or buy something. The service was good and kind.

A relatively small train station in Cilacap. Even so, the place is clean and well maintained. The staffs are also hospitable and helpful. There are mushola and toilets for those in the waiting area, which is quite spacious. The parking lot is big enough and the place is easily accessible as well.

This railway station is the end of railway track. Usually many trains only stop at Kroya station and passangers go to/from Cilacap by others mode transportation. That's why Cilacap station is quite, not very crowded due to less activity, only few trains dispatch from here and stops until here. I experinced only 3 passangers in the train dispatch from here, then 1 joined from Kroya and full load when reach Yogyakarta.nDon't forget to listen Never Forget OST. Murder on The Orient Express when you're travelling with train and thinking you're Hercule Poirot :)

If you sit in 'a wrong carrier' you should walk along the train, to get the right doorway out of station.
