One of the best temples in kerala. It has a calm atmosphere. Although its a Lord Rama temple, it is said that Lord Hanuman has more power. It is believed that Lord Rama told the secret phrase to Hanuman from here before he going to Lanka. During this Lord Lakshman was asked to stay away from them and there is a seperate sanctum for him. There is ample parking space with 2 parking ground. Usual it is not crowded.

Alathiyur Hanuman temple in Tirur is a famous temple. The main deity is Lord Rama. People from all over India visit this place.

Very very important because of the people's experience and beliefs attracts more and more people to this temple of Lord Sree Rama, even though it is very much famous in the name of Lord Hanumanji.

Sreeram shrine is in main temple... But Sri Hanuman is famous in that temple... Major vazhipadu is 'Gadha Samarppanam' for Hanuman...

One of the oldest and powerful temple... Famous Nivedyam is Avil kuzhachatu and panchasara payasam...there is a seperate sanctum sanctorium for Lakshamana Swamy which is very rare..
