HPCA Cricket Stadium

Located in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh, India, the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium is one of the most beautiful stadiums in the world, and also one of the few stadiums that is open for tourists. It has beautiful views of snow covered mountains and is big enough, having a capacity of about 25000 people! Also, it is situated at an altitude of around 1460 metres above the sea level, making it one of the highest cricket Stadiums.

Awesome stadium with clean environment... A beautiful stadium, lying in the lap of beautiful hills of himachal... that have the best view in the country. There is an entry fees which is very minimal only 20rs. Which gives entry in to stadium of watching area. Other parts such as inside ground or other rooms entry is denied and the views as surrounded by snow covered mountains..Everything was soo beautiful there.Must go and highly recommended🤗🤗

Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, abbreviated as the HPCA Stadium, is a picturesque cricket stadium located in the city of Dharamshala District in Himachal Pradesh, India. The town of Dharamsala is best known internationally as the home of the Dalai Lama of Tibet. The picturesque venue is unique in India as it is situated at an altitude of 1,457 m above the sea level and has the snow-capped Himalayan mountains in the background. Getting to Dharamsala from the nearest airport Is Kangra Airport, which is about 8 kilometres away through the hilly terrain and the harsh winters, during which it rains and snows are some of the deterrents in organizing regular matches.

What can I say about it , Just "Jannat" I played four matches in the Ground. One of the most beautiful stadiums in the world. Location : Perfect Well maintained You can enjoy the view as there is a provision for visitors to visit the ground but from the stands only. Groundsmen are good and they maintain the stadium and ground very well. Sitting capacity low compared to other big stadiums but the scenic beauty balances it out. As far as the pitch is concerned, I played the four matches , Initially the pitch was damp due to rain but gradually it dried and converted from a bowling pitch to pure batting pitch. Boundaries are of 65 to 70 m length. The lounge is awesome .The halls and the portrays of cricketers and legends made it further beautiful.
