BATTLE OF IMPHAL TOURS

We had a fabulous tour expertly assembled by Yai. In many ways it was a trip of a lifetime I went with two friends Chris and John and I was able to memorialise my uncle who was lost in the campaign. I can highly recommend this adventure, it was 16 days well spent and I than Yai and his team for making this happen.

My father in law served in Burma and India during WW2 and we were keen to visit some of the places where he was stationed to learn more. Our trip to Imphal and Kohima took some planning and we hoped that our guide would not disappoint.nWe need not have worried. Yai proved to be the very best of guides. He was extremely knowledgeable and brought all the reading to life. Nothing was too much trouble and the tour was tailored to our needs. Yai was always mindful of our comfort and safety and we could not have wished for more. We would therefore happily recommend him without reservation.

An extraordinarily interesting week from Imphal to Moreh and down the Tedim Rd and then to Kohima. Yai was a wonderfully interesting and helpful expert on WW2 and other historical and cultural aspects of the NE - an encylopedia of knowledge. He tailored the tour very effectively. Mr Farooque the driver was also very helpful. Recommend Yai's tours without reservation.

Yai was an excellent tour guide and brought to life for us the forgotten battlefields of Imphal and Kohima. He is a published author and very knowledgeable on every aspect of the history, including the experience of local Manipuris and Nagas. I would highly recommend Yai's service to anyone looking to learn more about this crucial turning point in the history of 20th century Asia. My only regret is that we did not stay longer to see more of Manipur.
