Phungyar is one of the oldest Sub-Divisional hill station under Kamjong District. It has beautiful scenic view from the top looking over to all neighboring Villages, with friendly people and a clean, tiny tidy little village town.

Its nice, for village people it's sufficient to enjoy. Tea stalls & hotels, vegetable stalls, grocery stores, stationary shop, medical stores, clothes vendors, tailor, barber, car mechanic, petrol, diesel, and most of peoples can speak English, Hindi, Meitei, Tangkhul language along with their own dialects.

Upon returning I was restrained for nearly a month but the place and warmth of the people brought back all the joy and fun.
