The biggest problem with salon services in India is that anybody with deep pockets can open one without any assurance of good service.nnI happen to come across this place on Google itself and enquired about a body massage for me. The receptionist promptly offered me that it's available and the charges are Rs.2000 and after discount, it would be Rs.1500 and that it would be done by a male masseur.nnGoing by past experience, I too inquired whether the masseur was trained and knew what he was doing. She said they were adequately trained. On reaching there, I found out that one of the hair dresser himself would be my masseur. Surprised, I decided to give it a try and unfortunately it was a horrible experience.nnSome things that didn't work out are as follows:-n1. The masseur or maalish waala was poorly dressed in street clothes looking more like a hip hop singer rather than a professional.nn2. He had a huge scruffy beard and a general unclean look about him. As to the reason as to why he would choose to wear a cap indoors and that too while giving a massage to someone could not be fathomed by me.nn3. The massage was all but a tel maalish with very generous dollops of oil poured on me and simply rubbed around with no technique.nn4. There were some random clothes hanging around on the cloth stand and going by the fact that none of the staff had any kind of uniform around, I am sure it belonged to some of them.nn5. The masseur didn't once felt it necessary to explain what he was doing or to enquire as to what areas needed better attention or what technique to follow. It was simply an oil rub without any effect in the end.nnOverall, It was a complete waste of money and I wish they train their staff before offering such services.nnHope this review reaches the right people.
