Excellent place for camping, located across the road from the salt lake. Clean and comfortable tents for staying the night coupled with properly constructed washrooms make it an excellent choice. The owners are a family and are extremely gracious as well as helpful - going out of their way to make you comfortable. Food is served on the rooftop cafe. A bonfire is held at night and the experience of sitting near the campfire, singing songs under the night sky is unforgettable. Which brings to the point that it is an excellent place for astrophotography and spotting constellations in the dark night sky. Would recommend staying here for at least a night on a visit to Sambhar lake.

Our stay at Camp Sambhar was an excellent break from winter. We stayed in tent and the views of sambar lake were splendid! Beyond the relaxing atmosphere of the resort, the next best part was the fantastic food and excellent service at the Camp Sambhar resort. The menu has a great variety of food choices and the preparation made for superior tasting. The staff was very attentive, professional and friendly. A wonderful mini-vacation with my family and friends.

Such an underrated experience it was. So much fun, thrill and peace. Camp Sambhar and Neeraj made it even better. The personalized services and the courtesy extended by the staff was on point. The full throttle drive on the lake bed, non-stop bonfire, star gazing, and the sunrise view just added to the fun.nDefinitely looking forward to visit again with a larger group. Perfect weekend getaway!

An amazing stay far away from city buzz. There will be no one to hinder your peace and the beautiful horizon views. Home like food and home like hospitality. Kudos to the Hosts :)
