SKS VETERINARY HOSPITAL

Really great for dogs , but for cats and other animals not that great but does the job well. Me being a cat owner found this place satisfactory.

Highly disappointed. It is my regular vet hospital for all my pets. I used to suggest them to all my friends and family. Had a very bad experience lately, my dog was having a serious infection but an xray was taken and pain meds thought she wasn't having an injury (the doctor said himself)were given. No antibiotics administered (not even in prescription). The vet doesn't wanna hear about the history at all as she was recently mated (they don't advice on breeding) but if he had heard he would've known the reason for her condition, but he was talking to a person in his examining room. Very much disappointed and had lost the trust i had for more than 1.5 years in the facility. I had to travel 45kms to find a new vet who did a blood work and told me it was an infection due to breeding and can be treated with antibiotics. Never imagined or expected from SKS.

Our 4 year old Labrador Browny died while being treated here. He was taken there for treating tick fever. The infection was in its advanced stage. The hospital did not advice on admitting our dog while knowing that tick fever is very dangerous in its advanced stages. Neither did they change treatment when they probably already knew he was going to die. By the third day, there was bleeding from his nose and possible internal bleeding. Still the treatment only consisted of antibiotics and injecting glucose. He was not taken in for critical care. The hospital was not open at night when our dog needed critical care. Wish there was better 24x7 care available in the city for pets.

Nice place. Kind doctor, he will clearly explain.. So kind staffs.. Highly recommended..

Please don't take your pet to this Hospital. My cat had a serious viral infection, but they only checked his temperature and gave an injection for fever. They even gave my cat half tablet for deworming, but they should give only quarter tablet for his age & weight and he was vomiting that evening. The next day I took my cat again to him and he gave an injection for stimulating his appetite. He was very serious after two days and when I called them around 9PM, they told that they wont treat him... Yesterday, my cat passed away. Please avoid taking your cat to this place....
