Sleepy Hollow RV Park & Campground

I would never camp here again it seems to much like a tourist trap they want money for everything under the sun and rules are bit ridiculous

If you go to bed at 9 its a good place especially if you have kids. As adults who like to stay up, its not for us. We will not visit again.

My husband was told about Sleepy Hollow by a co-worker. Since we're big campers and like to try different places with our little ones we booked a spot for the 4th of July holiday.nOur girls (2 and 5 years old) had alot of fun at the beach, pool, riding the golf carts and the other activities the campground offers and we did too. It kept everyone fun busy. They were some things that bothered us about the staff. NO ONE knows anything for sure, not even what kind food truck will be there that day and the time. We were told the pool will be open at 10am, it was not open until noon- as the pool boy was meticulously cleaning it.nnWe put all of our irritation aside because, honestly, it was not a big deal. We told our friends about Sleepy Hollow and all the great things the campground has to offer. We booked about a month or so out to ensured we got spots around each other. About a week ago my husband got an email stating our site has been changed. I called and ofcourse I was told nothing they can do. Someone with seniority took our spot. I asked, if they understand we are a group of 6 families including 12kids? She said she knows. I am going to keep an open mind about our new site and hope the person who took ours enjoy the 12 kids that will be running around near their site.nnThe reason I am writing this review is because 1. When you book your site, it's not secure- don't fall in love with a particular spot like we did to 35. 2. They're willing to sacrifice 6 future regulars for 1, so, when booking keep in mind, your site is not secure unit you get there 3. Even though they seem organize, they're not. No one knows details about anything, so don't ask! Other than these issues, it's a great place for kids!

I stayed at this campground many times. They do offer kids activities on the weekends.

Love this campground! Very family friendly. Lots of ducks in the pond as well as fish. All sorts of activities for both young and older ages. Staff is very friendly and makes the visit great. And they will enforce their rules to make sure every one has a safe and enjoyable visit. Highly recommend.
