It's flight lab of IIT Kanpur, with a huge Airstrip.nStudents like me usually go there to experiment on aircraft, drone testing , rc model testing purposes.nIt is a unique things of IIT Kanpur.

Excellent place even for a curious visitor. On one side you'll get the planes and a demo if you are lucky, on the other end a great open space and a runway. Spectacular!

Just for students if you want to be a pilot you should go for other flying school because this place is not flying school for flying training for becoming a airline pilot or private pilot igrua is the best place they have DA40 and DA 42 aircraft, some Cessnas and piper aircraft also

I had a chance to visit in July 2019 the place but didn't have the chance to ride.nYou may say it a mini airport in IIT-Kanpur.
Similar place
