Built by Debi Sing a tax collector under the Nawabs, this is a palace which is having some excellent artworks within it. Within the compound, you will find all the things used by him including he dining room , dining hall, hall of fame and some interesting collections, which might amaze you even. Other than the palace building, the construction is also having a place where taxes were collected and where the taxes were stored and outside to the palace there lies two temples – One temple for Ramchandra and other for Laxmi Narayan.nnThe palace is one of the best looking tourist spots of mursudabad district and is covered by all tourists, who makes sight seeing at Behrampore, the capital city of the Nawabs. Inside the palace, you will find the view of complete life style of the Tax collector, including the beds, stores and dining rooms.

In dilapidated condition - needs more maintenance.nThis is not exactly a rajbari (king's palace). It is just the house of a notorious tax collector. The palace is often referred to as a miniature version of the Hazarduari Palace due to its similarity of features. Among them are the grand flight of stairs and the large vertical standing columns..
