One of the most over populated correctional home in west bengal. The number of inmates, lodging here, are always in an average of 1000 peoples whereas this is accumodated for not more than 400 people. However, the office does a good job on rehabilitation of the inmates. Para legal volunteers work inside also and the inmates are given nutritious and adequate food. A canteen, inside the home, is also runned by a self help group.
