It's been a place of worship for the people of Sihipur and the adjoining areas for quite a while. The origins of the present structure are ascribed to the combined efforts of Late Gholam Jaan Ahmed and Haji Gholam Mustafa. It acts as an Eidgah during Eid and Bakreid.
