It is one of the most visited places for art and design lovers. It is a world Heritage site. Parking is available. No food allowed under the premises. But is a great place, Well maintained and neat and clean. A must place to visit for sure. It is 2 hours away from Ahmedabad.

This is one of the historical places in the country. They do charge an entry fee from the visitors. But, I think they need to focus more on maintenance of the place. Gardens are clean. There are toilets too which are clean. But the monument itself is not maintained well enough I think.

Rani ki Vav or Ranki vav (lit. 'Queen’s stepwell') is a stepwell situated in the town of Patan in Gujarat. It is located on the banks of Saraswati river. Its construction is attributed to Udayamati, daughter of Khengara of Saurashtra, queen of the 11th-century Solanki dynasty and spouse of Bhima I. Silted over, it was rediscovered in 1940s and restored in 1980s by the Archaeological Survey of India. It has been listed as one of UNESCO's World Heritage Sites since 2014.
