Its haunted place There is soul of a prince and his wife. When king built it there was no water in it so priest tell that tell your son and his wife to go down and then water will come so king think when water will come I will take out son and his wife but water come in such speed that King's son and his wife died so from that day its haunted and many paronarmal activities has happen so be alert

Madha vav is very historical place stayed in lakhupol - wadhwan city. This step well is very famous among the people in Surendranagar.

The place is cool and cosy with nice strong architecture considering how old this monument is. I think the government should do something to improve it's condition as far as tourism is concerned.
