most of my visits to shastri bhawan were to the press information bureau where i used to go to get accreditation for coverage of kumbh melas to be covered as chief correspondent , hinduism today, usa. there is a temporary shed just outside the building from where the pass is made once telephonic confirmation is ascertained on phone from the concerned officer. overall this reception area works very efficiently and quickly issue passes once the confirmation on phone is complete. parking is not available on the main road and inside only authorised vehicles are permitted. so mostly i would park my vehicle either at the press club of india which is just a few hundred metres away from here or else go there by ola or uber cab which drop you right at the reception and there is no hassle of parking. sometimes i used to buy medicines from the jan aushadhi counter on the ground floor which has a very vast variety of generic medicines, much less costing than the branded ones. for me going to shastri bhavan has been a good experience overall.

The building is Located near Central Secretariat Metro Station. It houses offices of various Ministries and situated next to Krishi Bhawan, another important building comprising of various offices of Ministries. Besides, there is a huge library inside the campus of Shastri Bhawan. Outsiders may also visit after taking due permission.

Govt building at Raise a Marg . Lot of govt offices inside the Shashtri Bhawan. Located near Krishi Bhawan and Rajpath. Nearest metro station is central sectraiate or kendriya sachivaliya. Without pass you cannot enter in the office.
