Dr Wali is an exemplary physician, life-long well-wisher and a friend of the poor. Our family's first association with Dr Wali was in 1995. Since then, he has been with us at every juncture when medical advice and help was required. Most recently, when my entire family was down with Covid, Dr Wali was a lifeline for us. In addition to hand-holding us through the crisis, he was a ray of hope for us.
