Hotel Mount View

I stayed for three days in a luxury suite here and my experience was really good. Food was also nice. Would give 5 stars for the staff, all were really kind, polite and well behaved. The only two things which disappointed us were that there wasn't 24 hour hot water facility and no proper ventilation in our suite which was really upsetting since we spent a bit too much on it. Apart from that we had a wonderful stay!

This is a perfect hotel when you are visiting Dalhousie in winters. Centrally located. 10 steps ahead of Bus stand. Cabs n restaurant is easily accessible here. Don't go for buffet because not many dinner items were available. Breakfast was good.

Nice place with a beautiful view of the valley. Lot of plants and flowers around.nnHowever this invites a lot of insects in the room.nnAlso being located on the mountains at a cold city. This hotel doesn’t have 24X7 hot water facility. Which a major issue. Hot water is available only for a few hours.

One of the worst hotel I ever stayed in. First of all they don't provide you the hot water for 24 hours even in winters. For a place like Dalhousie which is extremely cold it is difficult to put hand in the cold water. I have to call at the reception so many times to get the hot water in the tap. Secondly, their house keeping staff doesn't know how to behave with guests. There was no toilet paper in the toilet, when I asked for it the guy came and put it in my hand. I told him keep it in the toilet. This is a 4 star hotel. Which doesn't have the facilities of a 4 star. It should be 1 star.

Great location. Property is well maintained. Great view from the rooms.nJust the food was bit disappointing .
