Nilnag is a beautiful place to visit so least to say. It is a lake which is connected to the great history of sufi saints. Nilnag is surreal and dazzling for the peace and silence lovers. There is a single shop nearby to the lake. We had a cup of tea there and he was very friendly and enthusiastic.nOn the way we saw alot of apple orchards, rice feilds, and vegetables gardens. Most of the people make their life by carving wood.nIn the autumn season whole the valley looks amazing.nAtm is 6kms awaynHospital is very close to the lakenBus stand is also very near but prefer hiring a cabnFor nightstay you can easily get a homestay in budget

Good Place to visit especially for Educational Institutes and Primary Schools. I had visited place earlier before almost 8years ago but unfortunately this time Lake seems Dying Or in Distortion Stage with lot of Algae and Submerged water Plantation I believe due to Encroachment around the Lake (Shops, Residential Houses etc) though it must be under Green Belt Category. Hope The Concerned Department may Take necessary action before it is too late unlike other Fresh water Lakes like Dal Lake Khushal Sar or Nigeen Lake

Really an good for all adventurous peoplenIt was an amazing surprise of green nature in Summers, also good for picnic you can also bring your students to visit Neilnag Lake and see the Beauty of Nature.n♿nGood for kids

Went there around last week of July. The lake is beautiful. However the place was humid which you don’t expect to be the case at a tourist destinations in Kashmir.
