Changanasseri is located almost at the border of the Kottayam, Alappuzha & Pathanamthitta districts of Kerala, in Kottayam districtnIt is a busy market town with high literacy rate and several religious places and educational institutionsnIt also has a railway station at which almost all the major express trains halt...nIt is about half an hour away from the Alappuzha backwaters and the Kuttanad rice fields...nIt is also about 4 & ½ hours away from Munnar...nChanganasseri has several places of tourist interest...

Don't know why they have gone with these roof structures made of sheets(in my personal opinion the design is much worse than the contemporary designs used in old stations).In heavy rain you could hear the sound of water hitting these sheets.nStaff behaviour is good. Wheel chair accessibility is also there. Well furnished interiors is a big plus point.nAuthorities have to take actions to prevent stray dogs from entering the platform.
