It's not very crowded, the place is so silent and because of that you can enjoy the beauty of the sorrounding nature. People who like to spend time alone with nature must visit it, it's not a must visit place in Dandeli but the place is attractive and good for nature photography. Do not go for a swim since it's backwater the water will be stagnant, it might be pungent and filled with bacteria.

This place looks beautiful in the evening during the sunset. I wouldn't say it's a must visit spot. But if you want to have some peaceful time by the water and click some pictures for "the gram" then do visit.
