The ticket price is high. Nowadays rarely the deer can be seen. Few Alligators,and tortoises. Peococks ,and few birds. I don't think good enough for people's attraction. It would be good if people can roam freely. Obviously few guards can stay anywhere to observe. Need more things to add. I hope the government will solve the issue.
Amazing green gateway. Well maintained. The stay is better enjoyed if stayed in the West Bengal government Guest House. Chances of seeing Deer is better in the morning when they are feed, which is nearby the guest house.
Sanctuary
Sanctuary is well kept. However, deer is scarce and hard to find. Gharial conservatory has 3-4 of them and was the star attraction for us. Certain section of it was off-limits for general public which I didn't like personally. Also they have a weird rule of going around only in certain way and apparently can't go back to see something. Birds are not well maintained.
Always loved it. Very well managed. A cottage to stay and can be booked.
