Mukesh, the shopkeeper, is a fraud. He sold us a number of items for about US$ 500 and indicated he ships internationally all the time. He even showed us records and texts with tourists in support. We foolishly trusted him and also gave him the other items we purchased around the fort to include in the shipment. He said we should get the tracking number within 7-10 days.nWe have followed up now for 6 weeks straight and the story changes constantly. Long story short, I now started to research him and read across multiple social media sources that he is a crook and pulling this stuff on tourists with frequency. What a scam!

We took a tuk tuk from our hotel to the Jaisalmer fort. Some dude offered to be our tour guide and I said yes. He did a good job. Afterwards he took us to his cousin’s textile shop, this place. I was in the market for a bed duvet so I said yes. We ended up finding a lovely one and spent a lot on it. They added a back to it and added some buttons (to transform it from a blanket to a duvet). They delivered it to my hotel two hours later. I am very happy with it and their service.

This place does not deserve even -5 stars. They area bunch of crooks. I was at their shop in June 2016 and more than $1500 dollars were withdrawn from my account fraudulently. My Bank is currently following this up. There are bad reviews everywhere (Lonely Planet, Trip Advisor, Facebook) about this place. If you buy on line they will take your money and you will be lucky if you will get anything, and if you do, it will not be what you ordered. Mukesh Karwa. Remember me: Len from Australia. Remember you offered Chai and told us to sit down before you stole our money. For God sake, if you are in Jaisalmer stay away from their shop. Unless you want to get robbed.
