It's a state government managed park that has a handloom textile museum and a limited number of air conditioned and non AC rooms. Run by Telangana Tourism department, the accommodation at this center is more of complimentary in nature than primary. After our two days stay here, we noticed that no body turns up to visit the museum. Hardly any visitors. Funnily, the rooms attracted guests but not the museum not the textile park. Though the facility goes with the name of a textile park, we couldn't notice any showroom that was open during our stay. Though the rooms are very cheaply priced and huge, the upkeep is very bad. There are no water heaters which will be a huge challenge during winters.

This place will serve as one of the best spots for industrial tours....One can know in love of how a Pochampally or Ikkat cloth is made starting from dyeing of the threads, till weaving the cloth......The history of weaving of the Ikkat cloth can be known in this place......Superb educational tour spot for students to learn on weavers life and weaving methods......

A very beautifully set up place. For those who want to get a sneak peek into the age old contemporary tradition of our country in weaving...pl do visit this place. The ikkat design is one of the most intricate and detailed art. It's amazing to see some of the artisans carrying forward the tradition even today. This art needs our care and attention. Must visit place
