गिठेपानी सिंचाइ ड्याम

This is a man made water reservoir that is intended for irrigation and water crisis management in the area. The water level gets filled during rainy season when there is sufficient amount of water resource and used during dry and winter- summer season. City Development Board has used and mobilised the funds and resources towards artificial irrigation system in the submetropolitan area. A highly impressive work by the local government.

The pond has been constructed by Ghorahi Sub-metropolis for the purpose of collecting rain water and providing irrigation water to the livestock and wild animals in winter when there is scarcity of water.
