It is not a park

This day is special in the pages of history, because on this day, Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar, the creator of the Constitution, renounced Hinduism with his 380,000 associates and adopted Buddhism. Baba Saheb became attracted towards Buddhism in the 1950s and went to Sri Lanka (then Ceylon) to attend Buddhist Conference. On October 14, 1956, he took Buddhism along with his millions of supporters in Nagpur.n nOn 22 occasions they took away the Hindu religion and its worship system, they completely abandoned. With Dr. Ambedkar millions of Dalits adopted Buddhism and this was the biggest event of change of religion in the whole world. Although he himself did not convert it to religion, he was liberated from religious-born physical, mental and economic slavery.n nAmbedkar was born in the Hindu caste to the unmarried and low caste Mahar caste. They also took not only social but legal ways to end the practice of Hinduism in Hinduism. They believed that changes in the heart and mind can change only by making changes to the law. In pursuit of their Buddhism, Buddhism did not have to be like the untouchable and caste system.n nHindu is born, but Hindu is not merryn nWith the strength that Ambedkar was doing to unite the Dalits and bring them together to empower them politically and socially, the same force with their strength was also pushing them to stop them. After the long struggle, when Ambedkar was convinced that he could not overcome the caste system of Hinduism and caste system, he made that historic statement in which he said that I have been born Hindu, but the Hindu is not a mercenary.
